Courage Edition — Bravery Begins With Fear

Courage taught me something I did not fully understand as a child: being afraid does not make you a coward. Sometimes the person who feels the most fear is the one showing the greatest courage. Courage was constantly surrounded by darkness, danger, and things he could not understand, yet whenever the people he loved needed him, he found a way to face it all.

I created this edition because that lesson became personal to me. Throughout my life, I have experienced moments when I felt afraid, uncertain, and completely alone. There were times when I did not know what would happen next, but standing still was never an option. I had to continue moving forward—not because I wasn’t scared, but because survival demanded something stronger from me.

This double-sided 1 oz .999 fine copper artwork represents the courage hidden inside every frightened heart. The detailed imagery captures both the darkness Courage faced and the love that gave him a reason to keep fighting. It reminds us that bravery is not always loud. Sometimes bravery is a shaking hand that refuses to let go. Sometimes it is a tired soul deciding to try one more time.

Only 100 pieces of this edition were created. Every piece represents a moment when fear could have won—but didn’t. Once this edition is gone, it will never be produced again, preserving its place as a reminder that courage does not begin when fear disappears.
